Accountant – Full Set – Singapore

About the role

We are seeking a capable and hands‑on Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for our Singapore operations, covering brands such as Godiva and McVitie’s. The role is independent and requires accurate day‑to‑day accounting, financial reporting and compliance with local statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full set of accounts for the Singapore entity, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Execute month‑end closing, prepare financial statements and produce regular management reports with basic variance analysis.
• Calculate boutique commissions using established formulas and sales data.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring, including daily treasury activities.
• Coordinate audit requirements and liaise with external auditors, banks and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax filings and internal control policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of full‑set accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP or other accounting systems.
