Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team. The role starts with handling partial sets of accounts and offers the chance to progress to full‑set accounting responsibilities based on performance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle partial sets of accounts and prepare journal entries and postings.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in month‑end closing activities.
• Verify staff claims for reimbursement.
• Support audit‑related tasks.
• Take on ad‑hoc duties as required.
• Potentially manage full sets of accounts after demonstrating competence.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of full‑set accounting experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to start on short notice.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with accounting systems.
