Accountant (Singapore)

About the role

Coface is expanding its Finance team in Singapore and seeks an experienced Accountant to ensure accurate financial closing, drive operational excellence, and support finance governance. The role works closely with shared service teams and internal stakeholders to maintain high‑quality accounting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end accounting, tax, compliance and audit for the Singapore branch.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations and documentation.
• Prepare cash forecasts, monitor actual cash flows and liaise with banking partners.
• Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, monthly financial planning and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely financial statements and tax filings.
• Act as Level 1 control owner, collaborating with internal audit, compliance and risk teams.
• Guide and review work of the Shared Service team in India and support process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations and audit processes.
