Accountant (Singapore)

About the role

This full‑time Accountant position reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for the end‑to‑end accounting function of our Singapore entity. The role requires a hands‑on, detail‑oriented professional who can manage day‑to‑day operations independently while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts and reconciliations for the Singapore entity.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations and foreign withholding tax on receipts.
• Oversee accounts payable, processing vendor invoices, payments, and performing aging analysis.
• Perform routine accounting tasks, maintaining an accurate general ledger.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to parent companies in line with group reporting standards.
• Support intercompany transactions, settlements, reconciliations and reporting.
• Assist with annual statutory audit, statutory filing, GST, WHT and company secretarial matters.
• Provide finance administrative support and ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy; ACCA, Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST and tax regulations.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience covering AR, AP, full‑set accounts and month‑end close.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and detail‑oriented skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in financial tools and accounting software.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
