Accountant – Smart Mobility SaaS

About the role

We are a world‑leading smart mobility SaaS company serving over 2 million subscribers across 23 countries. We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full sets of accounts, support month‑end and year‑end closings, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for assigned entities.
• Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations, and journal entries for month‑end close.
• Support timely and accurate month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for reporting.
• Process payments, billing, and manage cash flow.
• Handle income tax and VAT/GST/SST filings.
• Ensure compliance with group policies, processes, procedures, and local regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers.
• Act as master data and system control specialist for the accounting system.
• Suggest and execute process‑improvement initiatives.
• Perform ad‑hoc accounting assignments as required.

Required profile

• Minimum degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience (or 4–5 years audit experience).
• Strong initiative, willingness to learn, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Independent, can‑do attitude, and a collaborative team player.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (including V‑LOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
• VBA programming.
• Experience with Navision or other ERP systems.
