Accounting Manager (6-Month Maternity Cover)

About the role

Acclime is seeking an Accounting Manager to provide six‑month maternity cover for its Singapore office. You will join a regional team, acting as a primary contact for a diverse client portfolio while developing your technical expertise and professional network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, financial statements, GST returns and other statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), Companies Act, IRAS requirements and related regulations.
• Lead, supervise and mentor a team of senior associates and associates, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
• Allocate workloads, monitor deadlines and manage resources to guarantee smooth client engagement delivery.
• Collaborate with other functions and offices across countries to maintain service delivery excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate services, outsourced accounting or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate regulations, SFRS, GST, CPF and basic tax principles.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑handling skills.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team‑management capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a dynamic environment.
