Accounting Manager – 6‑Month Maternity Cover

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join Acclime on a six‑month maternity cover. The role sits within a growing regional team and serves as a primary contact for a diverse portfolio of clients across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients from various industries, ensuring timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts, financial statements, GST returns and other statutory filings.
• Oversee compliance with SFRS, Companies Act and IRAS requirements.
• Lead, mentor and coach a team of senior associates and associates, providing training, performance feedback and workload allocation.
• Monitor deadlines, allocate resources and coordinate with other functions and offices to maintain service‑delivery excellence.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in corporate services, outsourced accounting or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate regulations, SFRS, GST, CPF and basic tax principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and client‑handling abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
