Accounting Manager – Southeast Asia & Oceania

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities across our subsidiaries in the Southeast Asia and Oceania (SEAO) region. Reporting to the Finance Head of Department, you will act as a key finance partner to regional and local stakeholders, driving process improvements and ensuring strong financial governance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities for the region, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and internal controls.
• Review and validate financial reports, journal entries, balance‑sheet schedules and inter‑company transactions.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare and support HQ financial reporting, including weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc submissions.
• Partner with business units to provide financial insights, support budgeting, and improve operational effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify automation opportunities and support implementation of new accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Relevant accounting and finance experience in a multinational or regional environment.
• Prior experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable.
