Accounting Officer – GL & Full Set Accounting

About the role

The Accounting Officer will manage month‑end closing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with corporate standards. This role supports a range of accounting activities across multiple entities and works closely with finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end closing, prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including sales, cost of sales, intercompany and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Perform General Ledger activities such as journal entries, accruals, reversals, pre‑payments and foreign‑currency revaluation.
• Maintain tax, withholding tax (WHT) and provision schedules; complete statutory and regulatory filings.
• Conduct balance‑sheet and bank reconciliations, monitor Goods‑in‑Transit (GIT) accounts.
• Support SAP‑related month‑end processes, including service order settlement, cost allocation and COPA processing.
• Prepare sales and gross‑profit reports, review warranty provisions, stock impairment and inventory transactions.
• Assist with intercompany accounting, master‑data maintenance, audit schedules and internal‑control compliance (J‑SOX).
• Participate in system implementation, UAT and finance‑process improvement projects.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in General Ledger, financial reporting and month‑end closing.
• Good knowledge of accounting standards; IFRS exposure is a plus.
• Experience with SAP preferred; familiarity with COPA, intercompany accounting, tax/WHT and J‑SOX advantageous.
