Accounting Officer

About the role

LG Electronics Singapore is seeking a dedicated Accounting Officer to join its Finance Department. The role supports accounts payable, treasury operations, cash‑flow management and financial reporting while ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and process accounting vouchers, vendor invoices and employee claims.
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable, liability accounts and corporate card expenses.
• Support fixed‑asset accounting, including acquisition, disposal and depreciation entries.
• Execute weekly payment runs and coordinate payment documentation with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor daily cash flow, bank balances and assist with cash‑flow forecasting and fund transfers.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing, account reconciliations and preparation of management reports.
• Support internal and external audit requests and ensure compliance with accounting regulations.
• Participate in finance‑related projects and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Experience in accounts payable and payment processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of GST and basic accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems.
