Adjunct Lecturer - Digital Business and Banking and Finance

About the role

Republic Polytechnic's School of Business is recruiting an Adjunct Lecturer to bring current industry knowledge into the classroom and help young and adult learners develop practical, workplace-relevant skills. You will deliver lessons, facilitate applied learning and assess students in either Digital Business, Banking and Finance or both, depending on the modules assigned.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver scheduled lessons and facilitate learning for Pre-Employment Training (PET) and/or Continuing Education and Training (CET) students.
• Prepare for classes using the approved curriculum and learning resources, adapting delivery to support learners with different needs.
• Facilitate hands-on activities, case discussions and problem-based learning using industry examples and tools.
• Assess student work, give timely feedback and complete grading and academic administration within set timelines.
• Provide consultation and learning support for the assigned module.
• Contribute industry insights to reviews of lesson materials, assessments or applied projects where required.
• Comply with the institution's academic, assessment and administrative requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualification in Business, Banking, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Technology or a related field.
• At least three years of relevant industry experience; prior teaching, training or facilitation experience is an advantage.
• Nurturing mindset, strong communication and facilitation skills, and comfort with digital and educational technologies.
• Reliable and organised, able to meet teaching, assessment and administrative deadlines.

Required skills

• Digital Business track: experience in digital transformation, automation, CRM, e-commerce, marketing technology or data analytics, and deploying digital or AI-enabled solutions; shortlisted candidates may be asked to demonstrate an AI workflow and present a teaching deck.
• Banking and Finance track: expertise in banking operations, risk/compliance and AML/KYC, financial markets, fintech, digital banking, sustainable finance or ESG; professional certifications such as CFA, FRM or IBF are advantageous.
