Aerospace Technician - Engine Assembly and Inspection

About the role

Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business, is looking for a technician in its Loyang, Singapore facility. The role covers assembly, disassembly and inspection of engines, modules, components and accessories, following standard operating procedures and supporting workshop engineers and cell leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Operate machinery, equipment and tools to assemble, disassemble and inspect engines, modules, components and accessories.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to keep workflows efficient.
• Support Workshop Engineers and Cell Leaders in reaching production and operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders.
• Take part in EH&S programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• NITEC or Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection or testing; fresh graduates with an aerospace background are also welcome.
• Technical experience in Engine MRO or the aerospace industry.
• Physically fit, able to lift and carry components safely.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manuals; meticulous, proactive and willing to work rotating day and night shifts and overtime.
