After‑School Care Teacher – Primary School (Singapore)

About the role

The Woodleigh Mall centre is seeking a dedicated After‑School Care Teacher to support primary school children (Primary 1‑5) with homework, enrichment activities, and overall wellbeing during the extended school day.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the centre’s curriculum and enrichment programmes in line with its policies and philosophy.
• Guide children through daily homework completion and monitor academic progress.
• Maintain accurate records of each child’s development and tailor support to individual needs.
• Prepare and organise teaching resources, ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Ensure safe transfer of students from school to the centre and supervise them throughout the session.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Centre Director.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience with primary school students.
• Strong commitment to child safety and development.

Required skills

• Effective classroom management.
• Ability to track and report student progress.
• Preparation of teaching materials and resources.

• Work schedule: Monday‑Friday 10:30 am‑7:00 pm, Saturday 9:30 am‑1:30 pm (5.5 days per week).
