Agent Strategist (Cantonese Speaking)

About the role

Sierra builds customer-facing AI agents for major brands such as The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health and SoftBank. As an Agent Strategist you own how Sierra's AI agents come to life for customers, from first pilot to a production agent handling thousands of conversations a day. You sit at the intersection of product, agent building and customer-facing work, and you speak Cantonese.

Key responsibilities

• Own the agent development lifecycle: take agents from initial scope through conversation design, tooling and evaluation to launch and continuous iteration in production.
• Act as a strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, helping them define what success means for their business and shaping the AI strategy that gets them there.
• Partner with customer teams day to day: run working sessions, troubleshoot the agent and make the calls that keep the build on track.
• Surface unmet needs from customer work and feed them back to research and the platform.
• Example projects include launching a subscription-retention agent, building a commerce agent that personalises recommendations, redesigning conversation flows for a financial services agent, and defining evaluation metrics for a new agent.

Required profile

• Customer obsession: genuine energy in front of customers, understanding their business and building trusted relationships.
• Clear, direct communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking, able to solve problems in ambiguity and adapt quickly.
• Technical aptitude: comfortable reading API documentation, understanding data models and system architecture, and weighing engineering trade-offs.
• Track record of running multiple complex, high-visibility projects to outcome.
• Nice to have: experience building or deploying AI/LLM agents in production (eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering); founder or operator background; a degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or an MBA.
