Agentic AI Engineer (AI Tech Lead)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring an Agentic AI Engineer (AI Tech Lead) in Singapore. You will own end-to-end delivery of AI workstreams, including agentic applications that integrate with network operations systems, while working closely with AI Solution Architects, business analysts and QA engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver AI workstreams from requirements through data preparation, modelling, integration, testing and production handover.
• Build agentic applications (RAG pipelines, prompt-engineered agents, workflows) using LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph or plain Python, with LLM orchestration, guardrails and observability.
• Implement multi-agent orchestration, workflow evaluation, LLM-as-Judge and AI red teaming, and adopt MCP and Agent-to-Agent protocols.
• Build RAG architectures and evaluation harnesses measuring correctness, faithfulness, latency and safety, with continuous LLM-as-Judge evaluation on production traces.
• Integrate REST, NETCONF/YANG, SNMP traps and gNMI telemetry with NMS and EMS systems, and build ServiceNow integrations for tickets, triage and change records.
• Implement guardrails, blast-radius assessments, rollback procedures and compliance with IMDA, AIVerify, InfoSec and CMB frameworks.
• Build the Decision Audit Trail, an Agent Operations Dashboard for the NOC, and drift detection mechanisms.
• Containerise agents with Docker and CI/CD, and run evaluations with human feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of AI/ML engineering experience, including at least 1 year in production agentic AI systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, AI/ML or a related field.
• Experience with LLM APIs or open-source models (vLLM) and RAG pipelines with vector databases.
• Experience with at least one agentic framework such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI or AutoGen.
• Desirable: telco or critical infrastructure experience, OSS familiarity, Kafka, ServiceNow, AI observability tools, TM Forum frameworks, cloud ML platforms and network automation platforms.
