Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to lead the design and development of high‑performance Android applications. The role involves owning the architecture, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of robust, user‑focused features.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and end‑to‑end feature development for Android apps.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code following industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to meet project timelines.
• Stay current with emerging Android technologies and continuously optimise performance and user experience.

Required profile

• 8+ years of native Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (including coroutines and Flow/StateFlow) and solid architectural design skills.
• Fluent communication in English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Java programming.
• Coroutines, Flow, StateFlow.
• Retrofit, RxJava, Glide.
• Android UI development, multi‑threading, performance optimisation, memory management.
• Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, Room.
• MVP/MVVM design patterns and Hilt for dependency injection.
• Managing multi‑module Gradle projects.
• Technical documentation using Markdown.
