APAC Communications Lead – Gaming

About the role

The Xbox team is seeking a senior Communications Lead for the APAC region. Based in Singapore, you will join Microsoft’s Global Communications group to shape how Xbox tells its story across the most influential gaming markets in Asia‑Pacific.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic communications direction for APAC, covering markets such as Japan, China, Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
• Translate global Xbox priorities into integrated, market‑led communication strategies that drive brand relevance, trust and player growth.
• Lead a distributed team and agency ecosystem, building operating models and coaching high‑performing leaders.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Xbox, Gaming and Microsoft leadership, shaping strategy and setting priorities.
• Deliver culturally resonant storytelling that aligns local nuance with global ambition.

Required profile

• Collaborative, self‑motivated leader with a proven track record of developing best‑in‑class communications strategies.
• Strong communication and critical‑thinking skills, able to manage large teams and meet high‑pressure deadlines.
• Deep knowledge of APAC cultural nuances and experience leveraging social platforms across the region.
• Industry experience in gaming or related sectors is highly desirable.
