APAC Government & Public Affairs Manager

About the role

Join the LEGO Group as an APAC Government & Public Affairs Manager and help make LEGO experiences accessible across the region. You will shape government policy, protect intellectual property, and promote creative learning through play.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with governments, trade associations, industry coalitions, and public services to influence policy.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on emerging policy and legislative trends; develop position papers for business leadership.
• Educate internal leaders on opportunities and risks arising from new regulations.
• Design and execute government‑relations initiatives that enhance LEGO’s reputation and impact.
• Raise awareness of LEGO’s IP rights, challenge violations, and collaborate with policy partners to protect the brand.
• Deliver public‑affairs programs through advocacy, platform activation, and stakeholder engagement.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in government relations or public affairs, either in‑house or public sector.
• Proven track record of influencing policy, engaging with parliamentarians, and achieving win‑win outcomes.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, independent work approach.
• Ability to anticipate policy trends, assess business impact, and respond strategically.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, collaboration, and negotiation skills, especially with senior executives.
