APAC Partnership Manager, Issuer Advocacy

About the role

Global Payments is looking for an APAC Partnership Manager based in Singapore. The role provides leadership in corporate strategy, strategic planning, acquisition, divestiture and joint venturing, business development and internal consulting. It also works with the executive team to define the company's mission, vision and strategic priorities, and to build and execute mid- to long-range plans.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate strategy, strategic planning, and acquisition, divestiture and joint venturing activities, working independently on moderately complex issues.
• Take part in defining the mission, vision, goals and strategic priorities of the business segments with the executive team.
• Help develop pipelines, run due diligence, negotiate, draft bid letters, term sheets and definitive agreements, and structure and close deals.
• Build relationships with internal and external partners and deliver consulting engagements, acting as a key advisor to leadership.
• Develop business plans, conduct research and analysis on industries, markets, products and companies, and perform qualitative, quantitative and financial analysis.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality written and oral presentations to executives and managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Typically minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Master's degree, strongly preferred MBA, and investment banking, consulting or corporate strategy/M&A experience.
