APAC Partnership Manager, Issuer Advocacy

About the role

Global Payments is looking for an APAC Partnership Manager, Issuer Advocacy, based in Singapore. The role provides leadership in corporate strategy, strategic planning, M&A and joint venturing, business development and internal consulting, and works closely with the executive team to define the company's mission, vision and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support corporate strategy development, strategic planning, acquisition, divestiture and joint venturing, and internal consulting engagements
• Take part in defining the mission, vision, goals and strategic priorities of the business segments
• Help build, evaluate and execute the pipeline for partnerships, including due diligence, negotiation, deal structuring and drafting of bid letters, term sheets and definitive agreements
• Act as a key advisor to the executive team, leading and supporting business plans and presenting them to senior executives
• Conduct research and analysis on industries, markets, products and companies, including qualitative, quantitative and financial analysis
• Prepare and deliver high-quality written and oral presentations to executives, managers and team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Typically minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Preferred: Master's degree, strongly preferred MBA
• Preferred background in investment banking, consulting, or a corporate strategy/M&A team
