APAC Project Manager

About the role

The APAC Project Manager will be a key member of Datalogic's Field Service Team, driving the success of Transport & Logistics solutions across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will lead projects from kickoff through handover, ensuring they meet technical, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated Transport & Logistics projects, gathering, analyzing, and negotiating functional requirements and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules aligned with customer timelines.
• Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with billing milestone plans and contractual terms.
• Coordinate project teams and all involved parties to deliver final solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Application Engineering teams and manage project priorities.
• Support Field Service functional managers in defining project effort and post‑sales service requirements.
• Report and present lessons learned from pre‑sales through post‑sales phases.
• Supervise on‑site installation and commissioning activities when required.
• Manage change orders, issues, assumptions, and constraints through project closure.
• Analyze earned value and project costs during execution.
• Monitor and control project profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
