Application Development Technical Analyst, Vice President

About the role

Citi is looking for an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst, a senior-level position based in Singapore. The role leads applications systems analysis and programming activities, establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with technology and business teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements and support new products and process improvements.
• Evaluate complex business and system processes and industry standards to resolve high-impact problems and projects.
• Ensure application design follows the architecture blueprint and set standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Analyze how areas such as architecture and infrastructure integrate to achieve business goals, and develop innovative solutions.
• Act as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and escalate and report control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 8-15 years of relevant experience in apps development or systems analysis.
• Extensive experience in system analysis and Java/J2EE/Angular/microservices programming.
• Experience managing and delivering successful projects.
• Subject matter expert in workflow/case management systems and cards and banking.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
