Application Engineer

About the role

The Application Engineer will champion BAC’s cooling and HVAC solutions across Southeast Asia, working closely with design consultants, end‑users and the regional sales team. This role involves frequent travel, product presentations and the translation of technical benefits into project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and present BAC solutions to design consultants, end users and key influencers.
• Gather market feedback, FAQs and product feature requests for the regional marketing team.
• Support sales by handling enquiries, preparing selections, quotations and bid clarification meetings.
• Coach distributors and sales representatives on pre‑sales activities and product presentations.
• Participate in trade shows, seminars and conferences to increase brand visibility.
• Conduct competitive analysis and assist in creating updated sales materials.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical control or mechanical engineering.
• Several years of sales or customer‑oriented experience, preferably in cooling technology or HVAC.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Resilient under pressure, quick learner and comfortable working independently or collaboratively.
