Assembly Machine Technician – Boon Lay

About the role

We are looking for an Assembly Machine Technician to join our production team at Boon Lay. The role involves setting up and operating automated assembly machines while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated assembly and production loading machines.
• Perform component and final assembly, including packing and palletising.
• Follow process sheets and Operating Work Instructions (OWI).
• Conduct in‑process quality inspections and label, pack, and prepare products for shipment.
• Handle materials using pallet jacks, trolleys and other lifting equipment.
• Assist with basic machine setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area through daily 5S practices.
• Meet daily production output targets while complying with EHS regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum NITEC in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing or related field.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and to do overtime as required.
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and company policies.

Required skills

• Operate automated assembly machines.
• Operate production and loading machines.
• Use basic measuring tools such as calipers and gauges.
• Identify and report basic machine faults.
• Use lifting equipment like pallet jacks and trolleys.
• Perform basic machine setup and maintenance.
• Conduct in‑process quality inspections.

What we offer

• Contract of 1 year with renewal/convertible options.
• Monthly salary up to SGD 3,000.
• Work schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
