Assistant Accountant / Junior Accountant

About the role

The Assistant Accountant/Finance Assistant will support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate and timely financial information across multiple entities. This junior‑level position combines routine finance processing with more technical accounting activities, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end close, preparing and reviewing financial data.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice and payment allocation.
• Process inter‑company transactions and expense allocations.
• Handle credit control and aged debt follow‑up.
• Administer staff expense processes via SAP Concur and resolve system issues.
• Perform bank, income, and DBS card reconciliations.
• Assist with yearly audit and tax queries, maintaining proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Own the Concur system, generate reports, and identify process improvements.
• Provide ad‑hoc finance support and backup for office administration.
