Assistant Cook – Full‑Time Kitchen Support

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Assistant Cook to join our island‑wide kitchen operations in Singapore. You will work closely with the Cook to ensure a clean, organized environment and support food preparation for a fast‑paced service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with food preparation tasks such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling ingredients.
• Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning and sanitising preparation areas and kitchen equipment.
• Wash, disinfect and store utensils, cookware and appliances properly.
• Receive, weigh, store and manage inventory of food supplies.
• Operate kitchen appliances including mixers, ovens, cutters and knives.
• Unload deliveries, organise the storeroom and keep inventory records up to date.
• Support menu development by improvising and creating new dishes.
• Help control kitchen expenses, food costs and staffing within budget.

Required profile

• Ability to work shift patterns as required.
• Willingness to follow company hygiene codes and health‑safety standards.
• Basic understanding of inventory and cost management.

• North Indian cuisine preparation.
• Knife handling and food‑preparation techniques.
• Operation of kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Inventory management and stock handling.
