Assistant Cook

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operations across Singapore. The role involves assisting the Cook in preparing and arranging food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth workflow in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with food preparation tasks such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling ingredients.
• Clean and sanitise food preparation areas in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Wash, disinfect and store cooking utensils and equipment properly.
• Measure, weigh and store ingredients and supplies.
• Operate kitchen appliances including cutters, knives, mixers and ovens.
• Manage inventory, unload deliveries and organise the storeroom.
• Maintain clean work areas, utensils and equipment.

Required profile

• Ability to work shift patterns as required.
• Willingness to contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Capability to develop new menu items and improvise existing ones.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing north Indian cuisine.
• Experience using kitchen tools such as cutters, knives, mixers and ovens.
