Assistant Cost & Contracts Manager – APAC

About the role

The Assistant Cost & Contracts Manager supports the APAC regional team by ensuring accurate cost reporting, contract administration, and compliance across multiple projects. You will work closely with project, procurement, and audit teams to drive cost optimisation and value‑engineering initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain cost reports and project data in line with HQ requirements.
• Manage contract documentation, ensuring proper upload and maintenance in company systems.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor database management and bulk tendering.
• Coordinate with project teams on contractual and cost‑related matters.
• Develop cost estimates and budgets for new developments across APAC.
• Drive value‑engineering initiatives to identify cost‑saving solutions.
• Manage end‑to‑end tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
• Monitor and control project costs throughout design and construction phases.
• Assist construction managers with progress payment assessments and cash‑flow management.
• Review variation orders, manage final accounts, and handle dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management, preferably within the APAC region.
• Experience with interior fit‑out projects (commercial/retail) is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑orientation skills.
• Excellent communication across functions and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling).
