Assistant Director, OD / Corporate Development (2-Year Contract)

About the role

The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is seeking an Assistant Director for its Corporate Development and Organisation Development (CDCO) function, on a 2-year contract. The role drives corporate development initiatives that improve organisational excellence and strengthen integration across HPB, working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to turn organisational barriers into practical improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-divisional initiatives from diagnosis through implementation and benefits realisation.
• Identify systemic issues and opportunities through organisational and process diagnostics.
• Align stakeholders on priorities and integrated solutions, and recommend improvements to productivity, integration and user experience.
• Support change, communication and capability-building to embed new ways of working.
• Set baselines, track outcomes and assess benefits.
• Prepare papers, analyses and presentations for management decisions.
• Translate workforce, digital, data, AI and other future-of-work trends into practical improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Organisational Development, Organisational Psychology, Organisation Excellence, Strategy, Transformation or Change Management, Human Resources, Public Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in organisational transformation, process redesign or board-wide improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with digital transformation, AI-enabled productivity tools or future-of-work practices.
• Experience in consulting, organisational diagnostics or facilitating large-scale change initiatives.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
