Assistant Director/Manager, External Engagements & Partnerships

About the role

Nanyang Business School (NBS), NTU, reports to the Deputy Director, Alumni Relations, and leads the development of strategic corporate and institutional relationships. The role engages senior business leaders, multinational corporations and key industry partners to build collaborations that advance NBS's priorities in education, industry engagement and social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement NBS's external relations and partnership strategy with the Deputy Director, Alumni Relations, and cultivate relationships with senior executives and decision-makers to turn them into tangible collaborations.
• Connect external opportunities to the right NBS units, avoid duplication and refer leads to relevant units.
• Build relationships with regional partners such as corporates, NGOs and community organisations, and oversee CIP and social impact partnerships.
• Partner with Digital Transformation to set up and maintain an institutional mechanism for tracking partnerships, keeping partnership data current and visible.

Required profile

• Degree from a recognised institution.
• At least 8 to 9 years of work experience, with 5 to 6 years in partnership development and management, education programme administration or a related higher education field.
• Knowledge of the higher education landscape and experience in social community circles are advantages.

Required skills

• Planning, organisational and problem-solving skills, and good project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
• IT savvy with good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
