Assistant Executive – Active Aging Centre

About the role

The Assistant Executive will support the Centre Supervisor and Executive in delivering daily activities and programmes for seniors at the Active Ageing Centres across Singapore. This role focuses on engaging elderly residents, organising community events, and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the day‑to‑day execution of centre activities and related tasks.
• Engage elderly residents, encouraging participation in centre‑organised programmes.
• Plan and coordinate social outings and community events.
• Co‑plan and support integrated home‑based or off‑site programmes covering physical, cognitive, social, volunteerism and learning domains.
• Recruit, train and support volunteers for activities.
• Identify suitable venues for programmes and activities.
• Provide high‑level customer service to seniors and community partners.
• Handle centre hotline calls and walk‑ins when the Admin Assistant is unavailable.
• Conduct annual outreach to seniors within the service cluster.
• Collect and compile KPI data on a weekly or monthly basis.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required.

Required profile

• Minimum “O” Level qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in eldercare, befriending, buddying or volunteering services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passionate about planning activities and outreach for active and frail seniors.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed.
