Assistant HR Director (Organizational Development)

About the role

The Assistant HR Director (Organizational Development) leads strategic workforce planning and organisational effectiveness across the region. Working closely with business and finance leaders, the role uses data‑driven insights to shape workforce forecasting, design, and capability deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end workforce planning, including FTE forecasting, capability planning and optimisation.
• Develop workforce models and scenarios to support growth, transformation and cost optimisation.
• Provide workforce insights and recommendations based on data trends and business priorities.
• Drive people analytics initiatives, ensuring data accuracy, integrity and governance.
• Lead organisational design projects, optimise structures, spans and layers, and improve operating models.
• Partner with Finance on workforce budgeting, cost projections and business case development.
• Serve as a strategic HR business partner to regional leaders, translating strategy into workforce and capability plans.
• Influence senior stakeholders and facilitate discussions on personnel cost, capability and structure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of HR experience with strong exposure to strategic workforce planning, people analytics, organisational design and HR business partnering.
• Proven experience in FTE forecasting, capability planning and organisational structure optimisation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
