Assistant IT Manager (Infrastructure)

About the role

Bacha Coffee is looking for an Assistant IT Manager (Infrastructure) to support its growing network of coffee rooms, boutiques and retail operations. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will ensure the stability, security and performance of the organisation's IT infrastructure, cloud services and critical business systems.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee IT infrastructure and operations projects, aligning them with business goals.
• Maintain smooth operation of networks, servers, cloud platforms and related appliances.
• Ensure network architecture complies with disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity plans.
• Lead a junior IT team, coordinate with management, peers and external vendors.
• Collaborate with the Application Team to guarantee 100 % uptime for application servers.
• Act as gatekeeper for system and network security access.
• Track, monitor and report on all infrastructure projects to stakeholders.
• Manage store and site renovation projects to minimise disruption.
• Oversee vendors and suppliers to ensure cost‑effective, timely delivery.
• Assist in budgeting and present proposals to senior executives.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Windows administration, networking, firewalls, Active Directory and VPNs.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, POS and ERP systems in a retail environment.
• Strong project‑management, troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
