Assistant Manager, Assessment Operations and Partnerships

About the role

The Office of Academic Services (OAS) at NTU seeks an Assistant Manager to lead assessment operations and partnerships. The role supports both traditional and digital examinations, ensuring integrity and efficiency across the university.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and administer centralized and decentralized assessments in line with university regulations, including scheduling, venue allocation, seating, logistics, invigilator deployment, and material management.
• Manage student assessment cases such as medical certificate submissions and special consideration requests.
• Oversee the operation and utilisation of digital assessment halls, ensuring smooth delivery, rapid turnaround between bookings, and high facility utilisation.
• Partner with schools and faculty to support adoption of digital assessment practices, providing operational guidance and expertise on assessment technologies.
• Build and maintain trusted partnerships with stakeholders, coordinating examination operations, addressing issues, and communicating initiatives.
• Support academic integrity initiatives, drive process improvements, automation, and digital transformation to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Manage procurement and vendor coordination activities, analyse operational data and performance indicators for decision‑making.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects related to assessment services.
