Technical Training Manager

About the role

KLA, which makes inspection tools, metrology systems and process solutions for electronics, is hiring a Technical Training Manager in Singapore. The role sits within the KLA Services team, which covers service sales, marketing, spares supply chain, field operations, engineering, product training, digital solutions and analytics, and technical product support. It involves leading a training operations team and shaping technical learning so that tools and customers stay available.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a training operations team in developing, delivering and optimizing learning experiences.
• Contribute to strategy, processes and technologies for technical learning to meet tool and customer availability requirements.
• Implement learning methods across self-learning, instructor-led sessions, supplemental materials and interactive formats such as VR/AR.
• Measure and supervise the ongoing impact of learning operations.
• Simplify processes and find ways to use technology to scale and improve efficiency.
• Work with other learning management teams on technical learning activities.
• Guide project teams and workstreams, influencing organizational change of new learning programs, and monitor progress against scope, schedule and budget while holding teams accountable.

Required profile

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in science or training-related subjects, with 7 years of experience delivering technical training or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment.
• Understanding of security solutions and technologies.
• Ability to prioritize and support multiple initiatives at once.

Required skills

• Proficiency with learning management systems and reporting.
• Excellent written and oral communication, able to explain technical information to non-technical colleagues and customers.
• Critical thinking and strong project management and organizational skills.
