Assistant Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (Temporary)

About the role

NHG is recruiting a temporary Assistant Manager for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at Woodlands Hospital. The role assists the Assistant Director (ERM) and follows the hospital's ERM processes, covering some of the duties of the Assistant Manager (ERM) who is on maternity leave.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Director (ERM) and follow ERM processes, reporting and submission timelines, and request regular updates
• Maintain risk registers and the ERM PRISM database
• Arrange meetings with departments to discuss risks, controls and key risk indicators (KRI), and document findings in reports and meeting notes
• Draft reports and PowerPoint slides for internal review
• Support the enhancement of ERM training materials and resources
• Respond to departmental emails and queries on ERM matters
• Attend CSA development sessions and coordinate control self-assessment activities with departments
• Liaise with departments and the insurance broker on renewal proposals, claims and notifications, and provide timely information on potential claims
• Assist the Assistant Director (ERM) with insurance premium payments and documentation
• Take part in hospital-level initiatives such as improvement, IT, audits, data protection and operations projects, and perform other duties assigned by the reporting officer

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and collaboratively across departments
• Healthcare experience preferred

• Detail-oriented approach to qualitative and quantitative data
