Assistant Manager / Manager, Access and Community Engagement

About the role

The Access & Community Engagement Department at NAC seeks a proactive professional to champion arts participation across Singapore. You will help create inclusive arts experiences, build partnerships, and oversee community‑focused projects that enhance wellbeing and social cohesion.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture strategic partnerships to create new access points for arts engagement across all demographics, abilities and life stages (e.g., ArtsEverywhere@CDC, Busking).
• Fund and commission innovative community arts projects, ensuring high standards of delivery and measurable impact (e.g., Arts & Wellbeing, Arts & Disability).
• Promote adoption of programme design frameworks and toolkits that enable stakeholders to develop effective arts programmes for social and wellbeing outcomes.
• Administer NAC's grant schemes from application through completion, including comprehensive monitoring of funded projects and delivery of agreed outcomes.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in partnership management, community engagement or arts administration.
• Proven ability to plan, manage and evaluate projects from inception to completion.
• Meticulous data management skills with basic analytical capability to inform strategic decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to provide quality advice and maintain professionalism under pressure.
