Assistant Manager, MSc Game Design Art and Technology (GDAT)

About the role

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is recruiting an Assistant Manager for its new, growing MSc in Game Design, Art and Technology (GDAT), an interdisciplinary programme jointly delivered by the School of Art, Design and Media and the College of Computing and Data Science. The role plays a central part in shaping the operational excellence of the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting and operational management of the MSc GDAT programme.
• Lead the end-to-end graduate admissions process, including outreach, application screening, interviews, appeals and post-offer follow-ups.
• Manage course registration, curriculum updates and submissions for college approval, timetable scheduling and cross-school registration with the Office of Academic Services.
• Lead, supervise and develop the Senior Executive responsible for enrolment, assessments, faculty hiring support and final project submissions.
• Manage the full PTL hiring process, from coordinating teaching needs with Programme Co-Directors to onboarding, contracts and faculty administration.
• Oversee exam results and grades, ensuring accuracy and compliance with academic policies.
• Plan and evaluate orientation programmes per intake and handle student queries and feedback.
• Prepare, monitor and report programme budgets, including technology procurement and asset management.
• Collaborate with internal departments, faculty and external stakeholders on programme matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in admissions, operations or administration, preferably in higher education.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning, coordination and organisational abilities; able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive, adaptable and solution-oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable learning new IT systems or platforms.
