Assistant Manager – SEO

About the role

StarHub is looking for an Assistant Manager – SEO to lead organic search and AI visibility across its web estate. The role is hands‑on, covering technical SEO during platform migrations, managing a live content pipeline and shaping AI and GEO visibility strategies as the search landscape evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Own crawl health, indexation and Core Web Vitals across multiple site properties.
• Write and deliver SEO requirements for platform migrations, new builds and manage redirects, sitemaps, schema markup and meta‑tag optimisation at scale.
• Collaborate with developers using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to implement and QA SEO changes.
• Run audits and ongoing monitoring with Botify and Screaming Frog.
• Manage a blog content pipeline, using AI tools such as Gemini and Claude to produce and optimise content.
• Develop internal linking architecture and structured content formats to boost topical authority.
• Design and execute link‑acquisition strategies, work with PR and marcoms to maximise SEO value of brand activities.
• Maintain local SEO signals, citations and Google Business Profile accuracy for retail locations.
• Drive AI‑generated search visibility, tracking performance on Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and other LLM‑powered channels.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience managing technical SEO during platform migrations.
• Ability to translate SEO strategy into clear requirements for product, engineering and marketing teams.
• Strong editorial judgement when using AI‑assisted content production.
• Collaborative mindset to work across cross‑functional teams.
