Assistant Project Manager

About the role

Support Arup’s project teams in delivering client‑side commercial fit‑out projects, including workplace restacks and new office locations, by applying strong project‑management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver fit‑out projects in a structured, well‑controlled manner.
• Manage resources, timelines, budgets, risks, communications and reporting to meet client objectives.
• Engage and liaise with client stakeholders, consultants and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and support business‑development opportunities, including Facilities Capital Plan projects.
• Support procurement activities such as preparing RFPs, onboarding vendors on the client’s procurement platform and following up on procurement tasks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in project or cost management within consulting or a client organisation, focusing on commercial fit‑out works.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, architecture, business, commercial management or a related field.
• Professional accreditation (e.g., AiPM, CPPM, PMP) is optional.
• Experience with project governance standards and procedures.
• Familiarity with client governance processes for procurement, third‑party risk management and project delivery.
