Assistant Site Manager

About the role

The Assistant Site Manager will be based at the customer’s site, acting as the primary liaison between the customer and internal teams. You will quickly understand the indirect material supply chain, identify commercial opportunities and help drive programs that improve service and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations for onsite activities such as vending‑machine management, delivery performance, return‑to‑vendor processes and non‑conformance resolution.
• Address customer enquiries—including RFQs, back‑orders and onsite issues—in a timely manner.
• Forecast customer demand for indirect materials and communicate operational needs internally.
• Propose and manage commercial programs, such as cost‑saving initiatives, by monitoring supply‑chain requirements.
• Represent the company in regular customer meetings and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver world‑class customer service and uphold the company brand.
• Ensure compliance with sales and operations policies and procedures.
• Foster teamwork and collaboration both within the organization and with external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Strategic thinking and effective communication with all management levels.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems and handle multiple projects under deadlines.
• Understanding of financial concepts such as EBIT and working capital.
