Assistant Vice President / Client Manager – Multinational Hub

About the role

Marsh is looking for an Assistant Vice President / Client Manager to join its Multinational team in Singapore. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and focuses on advisory, placement and client servicing for multinational clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver prompt and accurate processing of clients’ insurance requests and overall client servicing.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts ranging from statutory insurances in Singapore to large complex risks.
• Conduct client calls/meetings, pre‑renewal data gathering, renewal discussions and post‑renewal activities such as policy documentation and training support.
• Drive digital tools implementation and adoption with clients and internal teams.
• Implement action plans, monitor progress and ensure service meets or exceeds client expectations while protecting the firm from errors and omissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the general insurance industry.
• Relevant experience in Property and Casualty insurance is preferred.
• Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent; ANZIIF or ACII is an advantage.
• Highly motivated, client‑focused team player with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight timelines, KPIs and SLAs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
