Associate / Assistant Director, Notes & Services Division (1-Year Contract)

About the role

This is a one-year contract position in the Currency Department, where you will join a team responsible for the Automated Materials Handling System (AMHS) that supports the issuing, receiving and processing of Singapore currency notes. The team works in a fast-paced environment and manages multiple stakeholder priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the AMHS so that daily currency issuance runs efficiently and accurately
• Support the AMHS upgrade project, including on-site work preparation and supervision, vendor coordination, user acceptance testing and contract management
• Manage AMHS vendors to ensure optimal performance and contractual compliance
• Administer AMHS preventive maintenance and security patching
• Manage AMHS spare parts and consumables inventories

Required profile

• Degree in Technology, Engineering or equivalent qualifications
• At least one year of work experience, preferably in material-handling operations, operations engineering or supply chain automation operations
• Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
• Able to work weekends and after office hours when required
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to change
