Associate – Business Audit (1‑year contract)

About the role

GIC’s Internal Audit Department is seeking an Associate to join the Business Audit team on a 1‑year contract. You will help provide assurance and advisory services across investment groups and corporate functions, supporting the firm’s governance and risk framework.

Key responsibilities

• Support evaluation of risk management, control and governance processes across the Group.
• Execute front‑to‑back investment and operational audits, performing testing and documenting workpapers.
• Assist Team Leads/Managers in drafting audit findings and recommendations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather information and support risk‑assessment activities.
• Apply data‑analytics techniques where required, collaborating with the DA team.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting & Finance, Business Management or Business Analytics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in banking or financial services, with solid knowledge of financial products.
• Strong interest in internal auditing, self‑driven learning mindset and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
