Associate Engineer - Equipment Engineering

About the role

GlobalFoundries is looking for an Associate Engineer in Equipment Engineering to support the running of production in its Module. The role involves keeping equipment ready and fit for production, performing scheduled maintenance and helping engineers with equipment installation and improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shifts to support production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and fitness for production.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis.
• Assist engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment-related issues and minimise equipment downtime.
• Assist in implementing equipment improvement projects.
• Take part in the Quality Improvement Team programme to improve productivity and output quality, and give feedback to engineers so equipment performance meets module objectives.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, following safety practices and keeping tools, equipment and property safe.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Microelectronics Engineering.
• Above 3 years of experience in a semiconductor equipment role is preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
