Associate Production Supervisor

About the role

Flex is looking for a Production Supervisor based in Kallang, Singapore, to report to the Senior Manager. The role directs manufacturing operations across a shift or group of production lines so that they meet volume, quality and cost goals. It suits someone who wants to lead a team in a highly technical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the production of several processes or lines and ensure their success.
• Evaluate plant operating performance regularly and advise on changes that improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead a team of engineers and officers to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets.
• Troubleshoot operational problems, coach operators and guide regular discussions to improve performance.
• Solicit ideas for plant improvements, collaborate with engineers on project proposals and give technical advice to project teams.
• Act as the main interface between the operation team and maintenance, where applicable.
• Train and coach junior operators.
• Prioritise production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.
• Take part in process development and cost improvement projects, and help plan the department budget.
• Maintain a safe, clean workplace and ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• At least 3 years of working experience.
