Associate / Senior Associate – General Ledger

About the role

Deloitte is seeking motivated Associate or Senior Associate professionals to join its General Ledger (GL) team. You will support finance operations across Southeast Asia, ensuring accurate financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, GL, fixed assets, audit, and tax compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger, manage fixed assets and leases, and coordinate month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports, schedules, and analytical reviews of profit & loss and balance sheets.
• Collect, review, and report monthly financial data, including balance sheets, income statements, and presentation slides.
• Maintain detailed records of company‑owned assets and manage lease agreements and depreciation.
• Address queries from business units and raise ServiceNow requests for journal postings.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory and government accounting and tax requirements.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of finance processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Support ad‑hoc projects, new business initiatives, and finance policy updates.
