Associate, Strategic Insights and Analytics

About the role

This Associate, Strategic Insights and Analytics position sits within the Fulfilment and Demand team, which oversees and grows the Singapore Mobility business (JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium and more). The team implements strategy around demand (passengers), supply (driver-partners), pricing and marketplace, and runs product rollouts and special projects. The role reports to the Manager, Fulfilment & Demand, Transport, and is based onsite at the Grab One North office.

Key responsibilities

• Use strategic and analytics toolkits to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, such as customer segmentation, demand/supply strategy and channel strategy
• Analyse marketplace issues (demand, supply, pricing) to support business objectives like revenue and profit growth and service health
• Support special projects end-to-end, covering problem structuring, analysis, project management, communication and stakeholder management
• Work in a team to solve business-critical issues through rigorous analysis and big-picture thinking
• Execute initiatives with attention to cross-functional requirements such as operations, marketing/comms, driver-partner relations and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with Product, regional strategy, partner operations and marketing teams on high-impact initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Science, Engineering or a related field
• 0 to 1 year of experience in consulting, Strategy, Analytics or Business Intelligence roles, especially in tech companies
• Strong business acumen: able to turn complex analyses into actionable insights and to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Able to move quickly from long-term thinking to immediate, tactical action

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• PowerPoint presentation skills
• Basic SQL (Python is a bonus)
