Associate, Transfer Agency Operations

About the role

SS&C is hiring an Associate, TA Operations in Singapore on a hybrid basis. The operations team provides transfer agency services to clients, covering registration, AML/KYC, dealing services, settlements, reconciliations and client support. The role focuses on a unit registry platform and an enterprise digital platform for advisors and investors.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day and complex queries, resolving them accurately and on time, escalating to management when needed
• Perform transfer agency activities such as account opening and register maintenance, AML/KYC initial and ongoing screening of investors and associated parties, trade administration, distributions, cash movements, settlements and reconciliation
• Support investor and client queries, reporting, issuance of contract notes and statements, and commission and trailer computation and payments
• Follow procedures and policies, meet deadlines and escalate issues to the line manager, including regulatory implications
• Assist in client-specific and regional project implementations and change requests
• Review processes and practices and act as a catalyst for improvement

Required profile

• Experience in a related role within the financial services industry
• Good knowledge of transfer agency operations and technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong risk, control and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure, to strict deadlines and in a diverse team
• Highly numerate with attention to detail
