Audit & Assurance Manager

About the role

The Audit & Assurance Manager leads a portfolio of audit engagements, ensuring high‑quality delivery for both international and local clients. You will be fully accountable for planning, executing, and finalising audits while managing budgets, timelines, and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and complete audit engagements, applying professional scepticism and judgement on critical technical issues.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, project timelines, and keep clients informed of progress.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members, including performance reviews and training coordination.
• Collaborate with business development on pitches and with support teams on engagement financials, budgets, billing, and collection.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably at an international accounting firm.
• Strong ethical values, respect for diversity, and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SFRS/IFRS and SSA/ISA standards.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
